I have a Navman F20 for about a year now, I also have a Garmin 760 but I find that the Navman F20 still a very useful sat nav.Even though it does not have the features as the more expensive units I would not part with it. It is a well tested unit and I will always keep it as a back up.

I have had the Navman F20 sat nav for just over a year now and i have covered some 30,000 miles and this little beast has never got me lost! the fast find fuel station button has been a bit of a life saver a couple of times. I have now given this to my father in law who has found his tom tom a bit to complicated to use. I am upgrading to the S90i model.

If you get a Navman F20 as a present like I did, ask for the receipt and get a foot bath or something else. Charger point broke free. Rubbish at long distance stuff. Would NOT recommend.

I would buy their new sat nav systems, but their old ones are very hard to use.

The Navman F20 is really easy to use and read. The voice is clear. The price is reasonable and it performs as well as some of its higher priced competitors. On occasion it has directed me to a dead end and it has informed me that my destination is on the left, when in fact it is on the right. That said, I have never been lost! I would score this 9 out of 10.

The F30 with the free lifetime T1 live traffic information is the one to go for.

Navman F20 is my first unit, and so far - it's been very good and useful. It has a mode to search the map to find a destination, but I cant get the zoom to go in close to see the names of every street which means its use as a hand held map is poor.I wouldn't recommend it against others as I don't have any, but neither would I say it's bad at all. Generally a fine unit - but next time I would want to try one in-store to see it's features.

I find the Navman F20 wonderful, i love the functionality of the device, ease of use compared to my old sat nav, and also i like all the prelisted points of interest for example i wanted to go to the Trafford Centre but did not know what road it was on, so simply typed trafford centre and hey presto directions are on screen and where perfect.
I use it on all journeys that i am unfamiliar and use the bluetooth hands free accessory that i purchased for the device on every journey and find it exce ...

...of others I chose the Navman F20 and would just like to say how pleased I am with it.
The navman F20 offers great value for money and offers many of the same features that are found in more expensive models. Features include; 3.5" colour touch screen, 8 digit postcode search, latest GPS receiver technology, pre-loaded safety camera locations, nearest parking and fuel location buttons.
The beauty of this product is in its simplicity, its very easy ...

Wow! Superb results, i used this for the first time by borrowing from my friend and bought this next day after using this Navman. It not only tells the correct way but saves time and petrol aswell. Really good to use this...You will definetly praise the worth of having this Navman.
Do you know how safe is this to use? 100% safe. As i experienced no harm in travelling while using, high speed increases volume! imagine how your route will be, how much ...

As an entry level device, it does exactly what I was looking for and much simpler to use that the other device we have.

I bought my system used it three times, then when I went to turn it on for the fourth time, it would not switch on unless you kept switching it on and off several times I presume something was not connecting correctly but really annoying after only three weeks of ownership. My niece also bought one of the same model at the same time, and had to return hers as the connection on the side of the system had come loose so the system could not be charged. My sons also bought the same models one has ha ...

I have never owned a sat nav before and really couldnt see the need for one.My husband really wanted one ,he said it would make our life a lot easier.I have to say I was dubious.
Anyway I gave in to pressure ,thinking it would just be one of those boys toys that would'nt get used and it would be up for sale on ebay in a matter of months, how wrong I was !!
At first I admit I was disappointed with it,but I think the reason was we just didnt know how ...

never again will i get lost,
the number of times i have got lost is unbelieveable so i bought this satnav. i went for a cheaper one to try it out .
well i didnt know what to expect but it has been a very useful tool. i used it on routes that i knew to get used to it. then i bit the bullet and went somewhere i didn't know and to my great delight i managed it without tears. which for me is an achievement, I can't wait to use it when i go on ...

The Navman F20 is my first sat nav purchase, and cannot believe I used to travel without one! Easy to use and fun to play with sat in your house planning routes all over Europe.

...yet".
The gadget......
I bought the Navman F20 my first ever Satnav and so I didn't really know what to expect. What I got was a surprise, a lovely slender looking gizmo that has lot's of settings which can be programmed in a matter of seconds by touching the 3.5" TFT screen. Easy to use software and comes with a warning that appears on the screen when switching the unit on, warning of the dangers of using it whilst driving, and asking the driver ...

...cheapest on the market, the Navman F20.
Now, I did not know what I was going to get for my money, so I was not expecting much.
However I was very pleasantly surprised!
First of all I messed around going to places which I knew.
I purposely took different routes to those directed by the system and it very quickly re routed me, it never once told me to make a U turn
Then I needed to travel to a plce I had never been to before, to Dudley ...

Was impressed at first, but as you come to grips with it you'll find you'll out-grow it in a week, and you'll be wanting more from it. After the problems I had I took it back to Halfords, who were not surprised and had told me I wasn't the first. I have now bought a Garmin Nuvi 310 and it far far better and there is a lot more detail to the mapping which the Navman F20 lacks big time.
If you want a Sat-Nav that your only going to use on a Sunday and your over fifty its perfect. Buy it for your ...

This is my 3rd GPS and what a bargain for £200 you get all the normal functions plus speed camera database ( which you have to pay to update) and the T1 module, which gives live traffic updates to reroute you.
I was very happy until I became aware of the lack of a manual block road function. Like I said this is my 3rd gps and a block road function is a very useful basic tool which has been invaluable on my previous GPS's. You arrive in a strange ...

I bought the Navman F20 for my girlfriend for xmas, but have found myself using it more than she does.
I find it fun to use. The screen is big and clear, yes the F20 is wider than the TomTom etc, but it is very slim in comparison.
The touch screen is easy to use, and the in-screen buttons and options are simple to follow. From first taking it out of the box we had it up and running in under 2 minutes.
I bought this product because it was ...

I can't believe I've had the same Navman F20 as all the other F20 unit reviews around!
My benchmark is a Garmin Streetpilot i3 which I've been a user of for over a year but thought I would upgrade to a more up to date unit with extra features. Unfortunately, the F20 didn't fit that bill for me.
I found the maps to be very unclear and cluttered. It assigned the wrong house number to my home address which couldn't be changed and was just plain annoying. On a postcode search it wouldn't allo ...

The Navman has a range of useful features including a choice of voices and languages, pre-programmed UK maps, ability to store your favourite destinations and your home, and various options such as avoiding motorways or toll roads, and shortest or quickest route. It also has pre-programmed "safety camera" locations and beeps once and shows an alert on the screen when you are approaching a camera. You can enter destinations using ...
